VJI Corporate Chef Chris Stepan becomes the 175th Member IFSEA

Chris Stepan becomes 175th member!
Chris Stepan, the 175th Northern Illinois Branch member is the Corporate Chef for Vegetable Juices, located in Bedford Park, Illinois. Chef Stepan has been active in the culinary world for nearly four decades, working in a variety of food service capacities; from fine dining to institutional foodservice. He has logged time at the Carlton Club at the Ritz Carlton, The Metropolitan Club, Chestnut Street Grill, Ravenswood Hospital, and the Edgewater Beach Cafe in Chicago. He also was the Director of Food Service at the Florida Nature Culture Center in Weston, Florida and spent time as a Senior Sensory Technologist for Kraft Foods in Glenview, Illinois.
In his spare time Chris enjoys painting, playing Shogi, writing, and playing the Trumpet. Chef Stepan is also a member of the Research Chefs Association.
