VEGETABLE JUICES, INC. ANNOUNCES CHANGES IN PERSONNEL
BEDFORD PARK, ILLINOIS … (June 13, 2005) …Vegetable Juices Inc. (VJI) has hired James E. Hurley as president and CEO. VJI is a leader in the manufacture of onion, garlic and other vegetable juices and purees, diced vegetables, and oils.
Hurley’s appointment will offer a solid knowledge of the food and consumer product industries, as well as supply chain management, logistics, technology, and industrial products. A skilled strategist and tactician, Hurley is adept at revitalizing and growing both domestic and global organizations.

Previously vice president and CFO with HPR partners, a division of HAVI Group, Hurley brings a background in finance, operations, and business development to VJI.
Other positions held by the new CEO include senior vice president of Britannia.com, president of LP International, an acquisition of LaPreferida, and vice president of Beatrice Specialty Foods Division.
James Hurley is a recipient of DePaul University’s Financial Executive of the Year award.
